Time to start up our wine dinners again!
This time we will be featuring the wines of an Austrian producer called Meinklang, meaning “my gang.” On Tuesday, May 4th, Chef will be pairing five wines with five delightful dishes in a progressive and exciting dinner. Ellie from Italian Vine will be here to tell us about these creative takes on functional wines.
The cost per person is $125 plus tax and tip. Make a reservation online or call 402 964 2212.
There is no official start time for the wine dinner. Seating starts at 5 pm and reservations can be made for any time. The experience is catered directly to you.
Meinklang is a family-run self-sustainable farm, like in the olden days used to be. Located in the very east of Austria, right on the border with Hungary, the farm consists of a codependence between people and animals working together for the land’s prosperity. Ancient grains, fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, and flowers share the land with the local indigenous grape varieties, contributing to a rich and fertile soil. Their biodynamic natural wines are both traditional and experimental, some fruity and aromatic, others light and refreshing, ready to please any palate out there.
