The food was okay; the flavor profiles were either a little boring or a bit overdone with certain ingredients. The ambiance was wonderful and would be great for a large group of friends. Service wasn’t so good, but we arrived right after a table of ten was sat for our server, so that might have just been bad luck. Either way, at a restaurant like this, my expectation is that our server is able to describe the food in ways that make our mouths water in anticipation, and I felt like we missed out on that.
We had the mac and cheese, ragu waygu, bread service for 2, beet salad, potato soup, duck leg, and the lamb rack. The mac and cheese was very good, and the lamb was cooked well and plated nicely.
